The first daughter of Asami Mujiir, MI Memories was shown for the first time in 2009. She was with Gene Reichardt to start her western pleasure training, and a few weeks before the Egyptian Event we decided to show her in halter. So, Gene changed gears and worked with her on standing up; she was named Top Ten Mare. After the Event, she went home with our Michigan trainer Al Gruppen. A few weeks later, Mimi returned to Lexington for the Region 14 Championship; Brittany Bridges led her to Regional Champion Mare JTH. Though not straight Egyptian, her pedigree contains three different crosses to Hanan: through her daughter Ashraff and her sons Salaa El Dine and Jamilll.
