February 2009 -- Scottsdale Show!
Three offspring of Blac Knight represented Magic Image Arabians at our Scottsdale debut.  Shah Zammm was Top Ten in the 2-year Stallion AAOTH (he was not entered in the open class, but he did beat horses who went on to be Top Ten in the open); Magic Rendition was Top Ten in Half-Arabian Yearling Fillies with Al Gruppen and in Half-Arabian 1-2 yr Fillies AAOTH.  Precocious Magic caught a very bad cold as the show began, and spent most of the show at a nearby farm, recovering. We are pleased to report that she is finally feeling much better, and will be available for viewing for the remainder of the show.  These three horses can be seen at Freeland Farms' barn at the showgrounds or at the nearby farm of Equine Image Center.  Contact Sharon (334) 590-4742 or Glenna (616) 403-3436 for directions.

Dixie Gulf Panhandle RuffOut 2008

November 2008
Blac Knight babies rocked at the Dixie Gulf Panhandle RuffOut Show in Baker, FL! Our 5-month old Straight Egyptian filly, Precocious Magic (x Kasbana), won the weanling class, the Junior Championship, Mare AOTH, and Mare JTH. Because she was under 2, she was ineligible to compete for Grand Champion, AOTH Champion, or JTH Champion, though she did score higher than the winners of those championships! Magic Rendition, a 6-month-old Half-Arabian filly also won all of her classes (including the Half-Arabian Junior Championship – the only one she was old enough for...) and beat the Half-Arabian Supreme Champion of the show in Half-Arabian Mare AOTH! Both fillies were the youngest in all of their classes. Sweet As Pie, Blac Knight's oldest living get was named Reserve Senior Champion Half-Arabian Mare (shown by 13-yr-old Brittany Bridges), and his yearling colt, Ra-Horakhty, won his yearling class and was 2nd in Stallion AOTH (behind the Supreme Champion of the show).
Noble Conquest won Most Classic Arabian. He was shown by 17-year-old Paul Hollon, who also showed Liebergeist to Reserve Senior Champion Half-Arabian Gelding. Brittany Bridges showed Liebergeist in Half-Arabian Western Pleasure and Ms KSU in Arabian Hunter Pleasure just 2 weeks after bringing them out of retirement (2 Blues, 1 Red, 2 Yellows, and 1 6th).
Ra-Horakhty was trained and shown by Gene Reichardt; all of the others were conditioned and trained by Paul and Brittany and shown by amateurs in all classes.

September, 2008
Shah Zammm brought home “the blues” at the Michigan Breeders Futurity. He won the yearling Futurity with Al Gruppen, and then won the AOTH class with Sharon Tamplin. He also represented his sire during the Futurity Stallion Auction, where adults and children came into the arena (complete with raincoats and umbrellas) to pet him.

July, 2008
Two Blac Knight colts won Regional Yearling Top Tens:  Ra-Horakhy won at Region 15, and MI Khalido won at Region 18.

June, 2008
Ra-Horakhty (Blac Knight x DB Hamra) went to his first show June 19th in Virginia, where he won his Yearling colt class and was named Junior Champion!
Shah Zammm (Blac Knight x Au Rodeo Queen) made his debut at Region 13 Championship, where he received a Top Five!
Both of these colts had little time to prepare; they just began conditioning/training May 5th.  We are proud of our boys!
